Since qualifying as a counsellor I have completd continuing professional development training in art therapy, a workshop on mothers & daughters, boundaries, ageing, play therapy training and attended talks by well known counsellors who are authors of counselling books. I have recently completed workshops on working with clients traumatised in critical incidents and working with clients with aspergers syndrome with Counselling Works in Milton Keynes.I am presently studying a module in social psycholgy with Open University in order to gain an honours degree.
I adhere to the ethical framework of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I have about thirty years experience of working with people in a variety of settings. This includes three years of seeing clients in different agencies as well as more than four years in private practice where I have gained experience with all age groups and with many different types of issue.
